About Me

After finishing my Computer & Networks (or BEng) degree I joined one of the most amazing software companies, Symbian. It is thanks to them and their people that I was able to grow, explore different innovative technologies and join challenging companies such as Samsung. In Samsung I was leading an incredible group of people, driving some of the best features and innovations for mobile devices. I stayed there until I realised I needed a new challenge as well as the opportunity to continue my growth, that opportunity was called Camelot Global, a leading National Lotteries provider. Growing and maturing the Camelot Global Engineering organisation and delivering the new Lottery platform was extremely challenging but equally rewarding.
While helping other organisations to grow and be successful, I also co-founded Cloudpipes, offering a very powerful workflow automation service, connecting hundreds of cloud applications together ... a revolutionary solution in the iPaaS world. Cloudpipes was a great success, and our great technology and easy to use solution gained a lot of traction from companies that needed our product being part of their offering. Quickbase shared our vision and philosophy and our merge was a natural one. The successful integration of the two organisations was challenging but very exciting and rewarding, and my experience was helpful and a critical key on setting-up the foundation for their R&D expansion in Sofia. As always my constant desire to learn and being challenged, guided me towards a new adventure, called Foundry, a great company with exciting products and amazing people. Here I had the opportunity of growing the Engineering leadership team to become leaders of people, fostering cross product team collaboration and communication and promoting and establishing a lean approach.
Once my goals were achieved I felt it was time to take some time off and focus on new learning. While on sabbatical I joined, as volunteer, the CodeYourFuture Product team to drive the definition and technical design of the new dashboard platform. The challenge of leading a team formed of volunteers and students spread across different locations, building a new platform and knowing the outcome would be extremely useful to better support those more deprived people were the key reasons for joining them. In between different jobs I was able to create one of the best things in the world ... my family, together with my amazing wife and 3 wonderful kids.
